BUSHFIRE RELIEF

“I am thrilled to be making so many beautiful pieces for you all to remember your efforts by.” – Holly Ryan
In the midst of a devastating Bushfire Crisis, we are doing everything we can (as a business and as individuals) to help rebuild. Part of this was our Bushfire Appeal last year. And we also kicked off the new year with two days of fire relief fundraising – which saw us donate 100% of our profits to the Red Cross Bushfire Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
We are so proud to have donated $10,174 as part of these efforts. And we can’t thank you enough for your generous spending in support of this cause. As activist Howard Zinn said: “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.” So we are doing every little bit we can to help, including our ongoing commitment to produce sustainable, nature-inspired jewellery locally in Australia. There are still so many in need of help right now, though, so below we’ve compiled a few of the ways you can support the ongoing fire relief.
- Donate to state-based fire brigades in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA
- Donate funds to Foodbank Australia, or visit their Instagram for food drop-off spots
- Donate to the Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities
- Donate to emergency wildlife funds like those set up by Wires and WWF
- Donate directly to charities like the Red Cross Relief and Recovery Appeal
Other ways you can help include: writing a letter to your local MP, leaving water out for animals, walking instead of driving, planting more, saying no to single use plastic, going solar, switching to a responsible bank, supporting local sustainable businesses, and spending some time visiting Australian towns that need help rebuilding.

As we enter this new year and new decade, we are sending lots of love to all those affected by the Bushfire Crisis. And we are full of hope that, as a community, we can hit refresh and create meaningful change to help heal our beautiful country.
